Exchanging data with MS Excel

You can use MS Excel as an intermediate programme while exchanging data with other accounting systems. You can import/export objects: trader, product and bank accounts, NL accounts, balances for all accounts, aged analysis for traders, product groups, product quantities and transactions. You can also export only selected information shown on the screen grid. Import can be useful while creating a new company and entering data from other programmes to Herbst Insight.

Data migration Wizard (DMW)

Converting from existing accounting systems is light work with the help of the Data Migration Wizard. DMW is also designed to import/export information to and from MS Excel files. You can import & export your customer and supplier details, bank & cash accounts, and nominal ledger accounts and balances.

eBIZ-XML

Invoices and orders can be exported to the eBIZ-XML format - industry standard for electronic document exchange. Without a doubt, invoices and orders made in other packages or created by Herbst eShop can be read.

Text files

Nominal ledger journals can be imported/exported to and from a text file to suit outside programmes. The import & export format is fully customisable, in that you can change number, order, width & format settings for any column.

Reports Export

Any report or document form can be exported to any industry standard format i.e. txt, bmp, pdf, doc, xls, etc. Reports can also be sent by e-mail or fax directly from Herbst Insight with just one mouse click. In addition, information from any screen grid view can be copied to the clipboard or MS Excel, for further analysis with just one click.
